Distillery Label Mortlach 25YO

Gordon & MacPhail is a historic Scottish whisky company founded in 1895 in Elgin and is widely regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious independent bottlers of Scotch whisky, known for sourcing spirit from many distilleries, maturing it in their own casks for long periods, and releasing rare and highly sought-after single malts that often don’t appear in official distillery ranges.

A 25-year-old single malt, distilled at Mortlach distillery and bottled as part of G&M Distillery Labels series. 

Freshly toasted barley and bold citrus notes open the nose, leading into rich sherry and fruity dumpling aromas; the palate follows with chocolate orange, summer pudding, toffee apples, Christmas cake spices and vanilla oak, before a long, lingering finish of milk chocolate, espresso coffee and toasted nuts.
