Domaine de la Solitude Magnum

Largely inspired from the production philosophy applied at Chevalier, the management of Olivier Bernard at La Solitude puts great emphasis on time and presents some similarities with the terroir of Chevalier.

Domaine de la Solitude 2023 is a polished and classically styled Pessac-Léognan, showing aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, plum, violet, cedar, and subtle tobacco and graphite notes. The palate is medium to full-bodied with refined, well-integrated tannins, fresh acidity, and a core of ripe dark fruit supported by a gentle mineral backbone. The finish is balanced and elegant, with lingering cassis, savory spice, and a lightly smoky, earthy nuance.
