Elena Walch is an Italian wine producer situated in the country's most northerly wine region - Alto Adige. The history of the estate's cellar begins 150 years ago, already in the farsighted sign of eco-sustainability obtained from the natural stone subsoil, it was subsequently modernized and transformed into one of the most beautiful and traditional private cellars in South Tyrol. This is where Elena Walch wines are born, artfully created from the best grapes following a sustainable approach, in full respect of nature and the environment. The considerable extension of the vineyards owned by the family contributes to making the cellar one of the most productive in the whole region.
The Gewürztraminer Vigna “Kastelaz” is an international benchmark for the variety. With a rich, golden yellow color and a beguilingly complex bouquet both elegant and mineral, with aromas of roses and lychee as well as subtle acacia honey. On the palate, the wine is convincing and complex with an elegant structure, stimulating acidity, harmonious-spicy freshness and a delicate, vibrant finish. A wine with finesse and character!
