Enate Chardonnay

Enate is both wine library and art gallery and has defined its personality in the exquisiteness of both. The winery is the physical bridge between the art of the vineyard and the art of man. With the ambition to create wines of the highest quality within Somontano Denomination of Origin, and show the best of this privileged land, journey has started in 1991. Following the principles of the most non-interventionist winemaking and combining ancestral practices with cutting-edge techniques, Enate offers a selection of wines with a wide range of different styles: from the most flattering, versatile and easy to drink wines, to the finest, haute couture wines, some of them with an undeniable touch of exclusivity.

Since 1992 Enate has collaborated with Spanish and international artists to create unique pieces for their wine labels. Over 400 original works are displayed in the winery's collection, which has come to be regarded as one of the most important contemporary art galleries in Spain.

Exuberant and complex aromas reveal a tantalizing blend of varietal characteristics such as hazelnut and toasted bread; tropical fruits, including pineapple and grapefruit, and hints of toasted oak from the barrel aging. On the palate it is mouth-filling and creamy and develops beautifully with a fresh acidity that finishes in an extraordinarily long finish, during which nuances of toastiness reappear.
