Gavi di Gavi Yellow Label

La Mesma is a family-run winery in the heart of the Gavi DOCG in Piedmont, Italy, led by the Rosina sisters, who focus exclusively on expressing the purity of the Cortese grape. Rooted in sustainable vineyard practices and a deep respect for their terroir, La Mesma produces elegant, mineral-driven Gavi wines that highlight freshness, precision, and a strong sense of place. Their approach balances tradition with thoughtful modern techniques, resulting in wines that are refined, food-friendly, and true to the limestone-rich hills from which they come.

Yellow Label (Etichetta Gialla) is the estate’s first label and entry-level Gavi DOCG made from 100% hand-harvested Cortese grapes grown on the calcareous slopes of Monte Mesma, reflecting the winery’s terroir-driven style. Aged on the fine lees for at least 5 months.

Straw-yellow color with fresh, fruity aromatics of stone fruit along with citrus and meadow flower notes, framed by lively acidity and a pleasing mineral streak on the palate, resulting in a harmonious, elegant wine that’s refreshing, food-friendly, and a clear expression of the Gavi region.
