MacDuff Distillery is located on the estuary of the River Deveron giving it a salty, coastal style whisky. It is a well balanced, complex Single Malt with an abundance of character. Stemmy cut hay notes and an earthen rooty quality. There are toasted cereal notes and wood shavings with a grist and soft oak. The finish is long and full of cereal and dry wood notes.
