Glenfiddich Orchard Experiment

Glenfiddich is a renowned single malt whisky distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means "valley of the deer" in Gaelic. The Glenfiddich distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant. Glenfiddich single malt is one of the most successful and well-known whisky brands in the world. In the 1920s, with prohibition in force in the US, Glenfiddich was one of a very small number of distilleries to increase production. This put them in a strong position to meet the sudden rise in demand for fine aged whiskies that came with the repeal of prohibition.

Orchard Experiment is the fifth release in Glenfiddich Distillery's Experimental Series and is the world's first single malt to be finished in Somerset Pomona casks.

The palate is bright and fruity, with notes of crunchy apples, vanilla, oaky spice and caramel that linger in the finish.
