Glenfiddich Suspended Time 30YO

Glenfiddich is a renowned single malt whisky distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means "valley of the deer" in Gaelic. The Glenfiddich distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant. Glenfiddich single malt is one of the most successful and well-known whisky brands in the world. In the 1920s, with prohibition in force in the US, Glenfiddich was one of a very small number of distilleries to increase production. This put them in a strong position to meet the sudden rise in demand for fine aged whiskies that came with the repeal of prohibition.

This expression spent its time maturing in a combination of European and American oak casks, before it was filled into a handsome glass decanter bearing the magnificent Glenfiddich stag emblem. The display case is cleverly designed, so the bottle appears to be suspended in mid-air.

Rich bronze in color. An exquisitely structured balance of hearty oak married with sweet, subtle sherry notes. On the palate, deep, woody flavors interlaced with delicate floral accents, in a complex combination. Warm finish with honeyed and exceptionally long-lasting.
