Glenfiddich is a renowned single malt whisky distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means "valley of the deer" in Gaelic. The Glenfiddich distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant. Glenfiddich single malt is one of the most successful and well-known whisky brands in the world. In the 1920s, with prohibition in force in the US, Glenfiddich was one of a very small number of distilleries to increase production. This put them in a strong position to meet the sudden rise in demand for fine aged whiskies that came with the repeal of prohibition.
Cumulative Time is not merely a 40-year-old single malt—it’s a testament to decades of mastery, history, and innovation. Crafted through a pioneering process known as remnant vatting, Glenfiddich’s Malt Master carries a perpetual batch forward, season after season, marrying it with carefully selected casks. The result is a whisky that absorbs the evolving flavours of each passing year—layer upon layer—culminating in a supremely refined and profoundly complex expression. Encased in a striking crystal decanter, the whisky resides within a bold jesmonite container—a sculptural marvel with dramatic grooves that reveal intertwining veins, symbolizing the connection between the iconic green glass and the gleaming copper stills where this extraordinary spirit was born.
A luxuriously rich and deeply complex dram, unfolding with layers of dried fruits, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and gentle wood smoke, gliding into notes of fruitcake, polished leather, and subtle peat, culminating in an exceptionally long, elegant, and memorable finish.
