Hyde No 6 Presidents Reserve 1938 Sherry Cask

Douglas Hyde was the 1st President of Ireland from 1938-1945. He was sworn into office on 26th June 1938, which was the very 1st presidential ceremony in Ireland’s long & rich history. Hyde Whiskey was created to deliver complex Presidential flavor notes that are a celebration of Ireland’s unique history, heritage and provenance, a truly stately whiskey.

Hyde No. 6 is a limited small batch bottling. It is a marriage of 8 year old single grain whiskey and much older, very special reserve single malt Irish whiskey. Both are married in vintage Spanish oloroso sherry casks.

Featuring distinctive, full bodied malty aroma with nutty sweet vanilla and nutmeg notes. Perfect balance of creamy, spicy oak tannins with a smooth, buttery finish.
