Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select

Jack Daniel’s is produced at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, established in the 19th century and officially registered in 1866. It is recognized as the first registered distillery in the United States and remains one of the most internationally known names in American whiskey. The distillery draws iron-free water from its limestone Cave Spring and continues to use the distinctive charcoal-mellowing process associated with Tennessee whiskey.

Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Select is a single barrel Tennessee whiskey made from corn, rye and malted barley, using iron-free spring water from the distillery’s Cave Spring. After distillation, the whiskey is charcoal mellowed before being matured in new, charred American white oak barrels. Selected barrels come from the upper levels of the barrelhouses, where greater temperature variations encourage deeper interaction between the whiskey and the wood. Each bottle comes from an individual barrel and is marked with its specific rick number, barrel number and bottling date.

The whiskey has a dark, rich amber colour with bold aromas of oak, caramel and vanilla, complemented by fruit. The palate is full-bodied and expressive, showing robust toasted oak alongside rich caramel and vanilla, with additional fruit and floral nuances. The finish is long and persistent, retaining the whiskey’s characteristic oak-driven depth.
