John Walker & Sons Celebratory Blend 200th Anniversary

As the world’s most widely distributed blended Scotch whisky, selling over 130 million bottles a year, Johnnie Walker has a long and rich history. John Walker was a Scottish grocer based in Kilmarnock who, despite being tee-total himself, produced and sold a brand of whisky called Walker’s Kilmarnock Whisky.

The new John Walker & Sons 200th anniversary Celebratory Blend is an exclusive release to celebrate the past 200 years, and the 200 more to follow. It is inspired by the historic moment in the Johnnie Walker, when Old Highland Whisky was released as the first commercial whisky brand from John Walker & Sons in the 1860s.

John Walker & Sons Celebratory Blend is a sensorial journey featuring notes of sweet dried raisins and subtle spice, which develop into hints of roasted nuts and gentle peat, with a soft pepper finish.
