Authentic and frank, this wine tells you about local sour cherries and red Tuscan fruits. Scorched earth, truffle and new leather aromas line up in the glass along with whiffs of charcuterie. The big, chewy palate shows steeped prune, licorice and espresso alongside enveloping, fine-grained tannins.
