The Count’s vineyard is located north of Gaillac on the Plateau Cordais, a wine region in the southwest of France that has faded from view. The elevated plain, nestled in gently sloping hills along the Tarn, is regarded as the best terroir in the region, with optimal conditions for superb wines. The estate has weathered numerous storms thanks to its sturdy construction and is today regarded as a historical treasure of the French southwest.
The particular glass design of the bottle changes the incidence of light and gives the wine a variety of reflections. The aromas are typical of the grape variety: small, red fruits, strawberry and peach. In the mouth, a fruity taste develops, accompanied by an aftertaste of aromas that have already been communicated in the nose, a nice acidity that emphasizes the minerality and creates a high volume.
