Black Edition Pinot Noir is a deeply expressive and structured Marlborough Pinot Noir, selected from premium parcels and crafted for concentration and complexity.

It shows layered aromas of dark cherry, wild strawberry, plum, and blackberry, alongside savory notes of dried herbs, forest floor, spice, and subtle toasted oak. The palate is rich yet finely detailed, with concentrated dark berry fruit, silky but persistent tannins, and a mineral backbone that adds drive and precision. Extended lees and oak maturation contribute gentle spice, mocha, and savory complexity rather than overt sweetness or heavy vanilla. The finish is long, elegant, and lingering, combining fruit depth with savory finesse and ageing potential.
