Lugana Villa della Torre

Marilisa Allegrini is part of one of the historic wine families of Veneto, long associated with elevating the reputation of Veneto wines and modern Italian winemaking. Villa della Torre aims to showcase the diversity of Verona’s wine regions through carefully selected vineyards and terroirs. This project focuses on expressing site-specific character, with attention to factors like volcanic soils, altitude, and indigenous grapes. 

Pale straw-yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose is fresh and expressive, with aromas of citrus, green apple, pear, and white peach, alongside delicate floral hints and a light herbal nuance. On the palate it is crisp and vibrant, with lively acidity balanced by a soft, rounded texture, often reflecting the clay-rich soils of the Lake Garda area. A subtle mineral note carries through to a clean, persistent finish, sometimes with a faint almond or saline touch that adds complexity and elegance. Its texture and added depth are enhanced by ageing on the fine lees for a period of 6 months.
