Macula Primitivo Di Manduria

Vini Vernice is a small artisan winery based in Campania, focused on producing limited-batch wines from native regional grape varieties. The producer works mainly with traditional Campanian grapes, including some lesser-known local varieties, aiming to preserve and highlight the area’s viticultural heritage. Deep, intense ruby to garnet red in color, Primitivo di Manduria is a full-bodied and powerful wine with pronounced aromas of very ripe dark fruits such as plum, black cherry and blackberry, often layered with jammy notes. The nose shows warm spicy tones like black pepper, vanilla, cinnamon, and hints of chocolate, tobacco, or liquorice from oak aging. On the palate it is rich, soft and warming, with high alcohol, velvety tannins, and relatively low to medium acidity, giving it a smooth, almost creamy texture. The finish is long and generous, marked by dark fruit preserve, sweet spice, and a lingering warmth.
