Maskerade White

Gut Oggau is a project in the small town of Oggau in Burgenland, Austria which was started by Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe back in 2007. Each bottle from Gut Oggau is an invitation, a ticket to walk a part of the way with them into the beauty of nature with all its energy, into balance, into harmony and into the enchanting unknown. Lively as their wines are, full of character and rich in personality, they have felt and described them like personalities since the beginning. Described like dear people who have grown close to their hearts. The faces on the labels are fictitious, they refer purely to the personal impression that each wine makes on them.

This white wine is made with a Field Blend of grapes, known in Germany and Austria as Gemischter Satz, which is when multiple varieties are planted in one plot.

This lovely white, which is a Non Vintage blend (N.V) features notes of bruised apple, cinnamon, white plum and vanilla essence. It comes with a soft grip on the palate and is refreshing and very delicious indeed.
