Meikle Toir The Original 5YO

From Glenallachie Distillery, the Meikle Toir is the latest line up of peated Single Malt whisky produced and led by master distiller Billy Walker.

The Original 5 Year Old is the front runner of the range and is matured in a combination of casks which enhance the flavor - virgin American oak, ex Rye and ex Bourbon.

Aromas of creme brulee, burnt honey and peat smoke on the nose, followed by notes of orchard fruit, lemon zest and black pepper on the palate.
