Cusumano wines come from premium sites all over Sicily, and are produced at the Partinico (straight west of Palermo) based family winery by third generation. Crafting wines of the ‘new’ Sicily typified by outstanding varietal expression, rich flavors, and a sensuality that could only be born under the Sicilian sun.

Below the houses of Tenuta PResti e Pagni is the plot that hosts the old vines of Nero d'Avola, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The power of Nero d'Avola meets the softness of Merlot and Cabernet Savugnon in a Bordeaux blend from Sicily.

Freshly poured tar leaps out of the glass, with itinerant aromas of crushed rocks, graphite, flint and gun smoke, before a glimpse of berries and wild mint. Mint chocolate and dark berries on the palate of this wine sit on the foundation of tar and rocks. Peppery heat and taut tannins make for a statuesque body.
