Pietracupa was founded in 1993. The 3 hectares of vineyards were chosen with the express purpose of showcasing Montefredane to the wine world. Located in the province of Avellino on elevated, mountainous terrain. The vineyards of Pietracupa reach heights of up to 800 meters. The soils are loamy and calcareous. Thanks to good south-eastern locations, the vines benefit from a microclimate with sufficiently high temperature fluctuations, which allows the grapes to ripen very well. Winery quickly gained a reputation within and beyond Italy for some of the best Greco and Fiano wines. The wines are ready for consumption after bottling but have excellent age-ability, becoming more beautiful as they gain complexity in the bottle. The winery is undoubtedly famous for its great whites but also able to evoke emotions with its reds.

Straw yellow appearance with green highlights. In contrast to the Greco, the Fiano offers a more robust and expansive nose with refined fragrances of jasmine, golden delicious apples, candied violets and a strong mineral expression. In the mouth, a substantial and aristocratic palate with marked acidity; a fragrant and flavorful white wine, with aromas ranging from citrus to mango through fascinating nuances of honey and of citrus that echoes throughout the fine, long and slightly almond finish.
