Pommard Vieilles Vignes

The Philippe Girard estate is located on a beautiful property in the heart of Savigny-les-Beaune, a beautiful village near Beaune. The estate currently cultivates 22 hectares (60% red, 40% white). The vines extend across 14 communes. The Domaine team places great importance on working the vines while respecting traditions and the terroir.

This wine offers a deep ruby-purple color with mauve highlights. On the nose, aromas of blackberry, blueberry, redcurrant, cherry pit, and ripe plum are evident. A feline and wild evolution is not uncommon over time. Maturity leads it toward leather, chocolate, and pepper. A rounded texture, a delicate and assertive structure, and a fruity palate.
