Pouilly Fume Haute Densite

Château de Tracy has been a family business since the 14th century. The family purchased the vineyards in the year 1396. Best known for producing elegant white wines made primarily from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. The vineyard sits on limestone-rich soils that give its wines a distinctive mineral character, freshness, and crisp acidity, often associated with some of the finest expressions of Pouilly-Fumé. Owned by the Tracy family for centuries, the estate has a long tradition of careful viticulture and modern winemaking techniques that aim to preserve purity of fruit and a strong sense of terroir.

The "High Density" come from a small plot with vines densely planted on the most beautiful limestone soils of Château de Tracy. Coming from a unique style of cultivation on the Appellation, this Sauvignon Blanc offers a rare complexity.

Highly concentrated expression of Sauvignon Blanc showing a refined aromatic profile of lime zest, grapefruit, and green apple, layered with classic boxwood and blackcurrant bud, and a strong signature of flinty, smoky minerality. The palate is intensely precise with bright acidity driving a focused core of citrus and subtle white peach. Its high vine density brings added depth, tension, and salinity, giving the wine a more compact, chiselled structure than the estate’s classic cuvées. The finish is long, pure, and markedly mineral, leaving a vivid, lingering freshness.
