Back in 2008, the beer scene was full of industrially brewed lagers and stuffy old-school ales. When BrewDog was launched from a unit in Aberdeenshire, everything changed. The company, now the largest craft beer producer in Europe, shook up brewing culture – and has since gone on to become carbon negative and a registered B Corp. This light, golden classic has been subverted with new world hops to create an explosion of flavor. Bursts of caramel and tropical fruit with an all-out riot of grapefruit, pineapple and lychee, precede a spiky bitter finish.
