Quinta Da Corte Colheita Rouge

Quinta da Côrte lies in the heart of the Douro Valley’s “golden triangle” in the Cima-Corgo sub-region, where steep, terraced vineyards cling to the region’s distinctive schist slopes. With vine plantings dating back to 1814, some over a century old, the estate embodies the deep heritage of Douro winemaking. Its wines are crafted using traditional methods such as foot-treading in granite lagares, preserving authenticity and a true sense of place. Each bottle reflects the character, history, and timeless craftsmanship of this remarkable terroir.

Colheita Port is a type of tawny Port wine made from grapes harvested in a single vintage year and aged in wooden barrels for at least seven years before bottling. Unlike vintage Port, which is bottled young, Colheita is aged in cask, allowing it to develop complex character and gradual oxidative maturation over time while maintaining the distinction of its original harvest year.

Amber color. Complex aroma reminiscent of dried fruits, evolving into roasted notes. Surprising on the palate with good acidity and structure, long and elegant finish.
