Guerrieri Rizzardi is a historic, family-owned winery in Italy’s Veneto region, formed in 1913 through the marriage of the Guerrieri and Rizzardi families, whose winemaking roots date back to the 17th century. Known for their commitment to estate-grown fruit, sustainable vineyard practices, and a balance of tradition and precision, Guerrieri Rizzardi crafts wines that express the distinctive terroirs of Lake Garda and the Valpolicella hills with elegance and authenticity.

The name Munus means “gift” in the Latin language and this special wine represents for Guerrieri Rizzardi a gift from their best vines. Produced in limited quantities, this wine is a selection of some of the best grapes harvested on the Rizzardi family’s estate in the western part of the province of Verona.

Munus is rich in fruit and shows depth and concentration, with spicy notes and has a long finish combining dark fruit and the subtle characteristics of the large barrels it is aged in.
