Romitoro Toscana IGT

Castello Romitorio is an Italian wine estate situated in Montalcino. The estate is particularly renowned for its Brunello di Montalcino wines produced from the Sangiovese grape variety. The estate takes its name from the nearby castle constructed in the 12th Century, and was purchased by the artist Sandro Chia in 1984. Chia began a series of developments that included the planting of several plots of Sangiovese vines that same year.

The palate clearly perceives the fruit, the freshness and a discreet body: the tannins are evident, but so counterbalanced by the fruity notes to reach a sweetness of vanilla and mocha and to soften the intense and full body. The finish is warm and round, a hit of great fruity exuberance that retains its vital force even after several years.
