Champagne Ruinart was one of the first Champagne houses, established in 1729. It takes its name from the Benedictine monk Dom Ruinart, whose writings on Champagne were passed down through his family and resulted in the Maison Ruinart we know today. From humble beginnings, the house now produces almost 2 million bottles a year and is currently owned by luxury brand superpower LVMH.
This luminous expression of Chardonnay transforms the carefully selected twenty-five / thirty crus into an enveloping experience of citrus and floral notes with a round, silky and pleasant to drink freshness.
The pale golden yellow color of this wine is enriched with almond green reflections and jade nuances. On the first nose, intense aromas of fresh fruit emerge: ripe lemons, juicy pears or freshly picked peaches. The second nose reveals a hint of magnolia, more floral and elegant, combined with a spicy note of ginger and pink berries. A unique and harmonious texture envelops the palate, between tension and roundness. The lively freshness of ripe citrus and exotic fruits sublimates the texture. The final mineral touch is persistent and delicate.
