Santo Grau Cachaca

A quintessential expression of Brazilian artisanal distilling, Cachaca Santo Grau Itirapua is a traditional cachaca from the historic countryside of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Crafted with over 150 years of heritage, this spirit reflects the authentic methods of small, family‑run sugarcane mills. 

Made in the traditional way at the Itirapua mill, the sugarcane is crushed by a water‑wheel powered by a stream, preserving an old‑world charm in every bottle. Fermentation is 100 % natural, using cornmeal‑based yeast from the estate, followed by careful distillation in small copper stills. After distillation, the spirit rests in jequitiba and oak barrels, imparting just the right softness and subtle complexity without overpowering the cane character.

This cachaca offers a smooth, velvety palate with a soft, gently amadeirado (wood‑tinged) aroma. Its flavor is broad and balanced, delivering a refined sweetness and easy‑drinking character that can be enjoyed pure, very cold, or in classic cocktails.
