Grappa di Nebbiolo

Distilleria Sibona is one of the oldest and most respected grappa producers in Piedmont, Italy, founded over a century ago in the Roero area near Alba. The distillery is especially known for holding the historic distillation license No. 1 issued by the Italian authorities, a symbol of its prestige and long tradition. Sibona specializes in artisanal single-varietal grappas made from fresh pomace of top Piedmont grapes using careful steam distillation and long barrel aging.

Grappa di Nebbiolo is a classic, varietal grappa made from Nebbiolo grape pomace, the same noble grape behind Barolo and Barbaresco wines, but presented in a purer, more direct expression.

The nose is elegant and floral, showing notes of rose petals, violet, cherry, raspberry, red currant, and subtle spice with a faint herbal undertone. On the palate it is dry, clean, and refined, with flavors of red berries, light citrus peel, almond, and gentle peppery spice, supported by a crisp and well-defined structure.
