Talisker Dark Storm

On the shores of Loch Harport, the village of Carbost is home to Skye’s only distillery producing a wonderfully powerful and award-winning Island malt bottled at above average strength. Talisker's soft, peaty process water is drawn from 21 underground springs that rise from Hawk Hill beside the distillery.

The mahogany-colored Single Malt Scotch Whisky is very intense, smoky and a bit sweetish in the nose with scents of plums, raisins and barbecue fire. On the palate it becomes really interesting with an amazing combination of caramel, orange peels, spices and wonderful smoke.
