The GlenAllachie 10YO Grattamacco Wine Finish

One of Scotland’s few independently owned and managed distilleries, The GlenAllachie is led by industry veteran, Billy Walker, who boasts an astonishing 50-year tenure in whisky. Nestled at the foot of Ben Rinnes, the distillery lies at the heart of the Speyside, with a focus upon quality over quantity.

This release first matured in Bourbon casks followed by a second maturation of over 2 years in red wine barriques from winery at the famous Grattamacco estate in the Bolgheri region in Tuscany. It was bottles in 2023 at 48% ABV, non chilled filtered and no added color. 

Dark chocolate, butterscotch and heather honey with black berries, caramelized brown sugar and cinnamon.
