The Macallan Triple Cask 12YO

Located on a 390-acre estate in the Scottish Highlands near Craigellachie, The Macallan distillery was founded in 1824 and was one of the first Scottish distilleries to be legally licensed. Macallan has built its enviable reputation by focusing on quality. It is one of the most sought-after whiskies for collectors. The Macallan invests a lot of time and effort into sourcing and making casks, so much so that it is the only Scotch distiller with a dedicated Master of Wood: Stuart MacPherson. 

Gingerbread, vanilla essence, wafts of buttered toast and clotted-cream-topped scones. Raisins, sultanas and stem ginger. Citrus begins to develop on the palate, with a touch of dark chocolate. Subtle cedar and honey linger on the palate.
