Umani Ronchi is an Italian wine producer with estate vineyards situated throughout the Marche and Abruzzo sub regions. The Bianchi-Bernetti family founded the estate in 1959 and has since specialized in the production of local grape varieties. From the 1970s onwards, Umani Ronchi has seen significant investment and development in its vineyards, particularly with the replanting of 85 percent of its original vines. Today, Umani Ronchi cultivates approximately 210 hectares (520 acres) of vineyards.
Deep ruby red color with purple and garnet bright tints, presenting a full and highly fruity bouquet: ripe cherry, plum, and orange peel finish, all this mixing up with a sweet spice taste, like vanilla and licorice plant. The sweet touch of the fruit gives a very harmonic mouth and extremely silky tannins. Herbs notes harmonize with a long and pleasant finish.
