Verruzzo Toscana Rosso

Monteverro is a wine producer based in the southern Tuscan village of Capalbio, in Maremma. Founder Georg Weber established the estate's vineyards in 2004 and produced the inaugural vintage four years later in 2008. Today, the vineyards extend over an area of 35 hectares. The vines occupy stony red clay soils that are rich in minerals and, when combined with the favorable coastal location, enjoy ideal growing conditions.

Color is intense ruby with touches of ruby on the rim. The nose is beautiful explosion of red cherry, cassis, raspberry, red bell pepper and some hints of lilac and cigar box.
Fresh and round entrance evolving on a framed mouthfeel with cassis again, plum, blueberry and white pepper, finishing on touches of tomatoes and underbrush.
