Pinot Noir

Walter Hansel Winery is a wine producer based in the Russian River Valley region of Sonoma Country, California and was established in the late 1970s. Walter Hansel himself started with 257 Chardonnay vines planted in the Russian River Valley in the 1970s. The first commercially-available vintage was released in 1996, and today the estate's Sonoma County vineyards cover 80 hectares.

Medium ruby-purple in color. This Pinot Noir is scented of smoked cranberries, tar and tobacco with nuances of citrus peel and potpourri. The light-bodied palate is silky, layered and seriously styled with a gentle grip, great freshness and long finish.
