XIIIe Blanc

Château Peyrassol’s vineyard estate was established all the way back in 1204 by the Knights Templar. In 2001 the property was acquired by Philippe Austury, who has worked ever since to raise its profile. The organic vineyards are set among 850 hectares of nature in the foothills of the Massif de Maures, where clay-limestone soils and a Mediterranean climate create the ideal conditions for wine production.

This estate cuvée was created on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the acquisition of the Commanderie de Peyrassol by Philippe Austruy. The very soul of the estate, XIIIE reflects the colors of Peyrassol’s terroir. Its unique bottle and free-form label, created by the designer Pierre Yovanovitch, combine authenticity and modernity in perfect harmony with this wine which reveals the taste of fruit without any diversion.

With its golden colour and green highlights, this cuvée expresses the full potential of the grape, combining freshness and fruit. Semillon and Ugni Blanc add thirst- quenching freshness. A harmonious blend of white flowers and pear give way to a lemony nose and notes of white-fleshed fruit. Light, lively and silky at the same time, this white wine is a quintessential Provence white. The citrus finish completes the great complexity of this wine.
