Domaines Albert Bichot is a leading family-owned and run négociant house and estate owner in Burgundy, formed in 1831 and now based in the town of Beaune. Albert Bichot company owns more than 100 hectares (250 acres) of sustainably farmed vineyards divided among six estates. Grapes are both company or estate-owned or sourced from a network of long-term growers.
Puligny-Montrachet is a village in the Cote de Beaune sub-region of Burgundy, with its own communal appellation. The undeniable success of Chardonnay here is the result of several factors – most of them encompassed by the concept of terroir. The local combination of topography, soil structure and climate gives producers high-quality grapes.
The nose develops subtle aromas of dried fruit, almond, apricot as well as hawthorn flower and candied fruit. The palate is round and structured, harmonious and well balanced with a long, refreshing finish.
