Massolino (formally Azienda Agricola Vigna Rionda) is a Piedmont winery best known for its Barolo DOCG wines made from the Nebbiolo variety. The 23 hectares (57 acres) of estate vines are almost all entirely in the Barolo sub-region Serralunga d'Alba. The winery was founded in 1896 by Giovanno Massolino and remains family owned and operated.

The Cru is located in Ccastiglione Falletto. The soil of this Cru is very special, giving us wines that are austere and decisive, with robust and very long-lasting tannins. Positioned at the top of the hill, it boasts excellent exposure and the best morphological conditions for growing Nebbiolo grapes.

Ddeep garnet red in color. Ethereal and enveloping with intense and persistent notes of sweet spices, sandalwood, tobacco and leather. Generous, round and silky mouth. It develops on splendid fruity and spicy notes, with a persistent and harmonious finish.
