GlenDronach 12YO

The GlenDronach distillery lies at the Dronach Burn in the Deveron area. The whisky distillery was founded in 1826, by a syndicate headed by James Allardes. Thanks to the fifth Duke of Gordon, distillation throughout the highlands was legalized in the early 19th century. The GlenDronach distillery uses six warehouses, three traditional dunnage which are no more than three barrels high, and three racked. GlenDronach produces around 1.4 million litres of whisky per annum.

This superb richly sherried single malt is matured for at least 12 years in a combination of the finest Spanish Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. Natural color and bottled at 43%, The Glendronach 12YO is a sweet, creamy dram.

Rich amber-red gold color. Sherried autumn fruits meld with smooth chocolate praline, gingerbread and sun-dried raisin. Caramelized bramble, silky orange and sultana envelope the palate with warming spice.
