Glenfiddich Project XX

Glenfiddich is a renowned single malt whisky distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means "valley of the deer" in Gaelic. The Glenfiddich distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant. Glenfiddich single malt is one of the most successful and well-known whisky brands in the world. In the 1920s, with prohibition in force in the US, Glenfiddich was one of a very small number of distilleries to increase production. This put them in a strong position to meet the sudden rise in demand for fine aged whiskies that came with the repeal of prohibition. 

20 of the industry's most exceptional minds came together to create this truly unique, pioneering expression. 

Deep gold color. Classic fruitiness with hints of apple blossom and plump pear. A perfect balance of rich vanilla oak with golden sugar and a touch of liquorish. On the palate a deep and mellow, the cotton candy sweetness is complimented by unusual notes of toasted almonds and cinnamon and a hint of crisp tannin. The finish is long lasting with a savored sweet oak.
