Glenfiddich Triple Oak 12YO

Glenfiddich is a renowned single malt whisky distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. Glenfiddich means "valley of the deer" in Gaelic. The Glenfiddich distillery was founded in 1886 by William Grant. Glenfiddich single malt is one of the most successful and well-known whisky brands in the world. In the 1920s, with prohibition in force in the US, Glenfiddich was one of a very small number of distilleries to increase production. This put them in a strong position to meet the sudden rise in demand for fine aged whiskies that came with the repeal of prohibition. 

Glenfiddich Triple Oak matured in three types of casks: Along with Bourbon and Sherry casks, fresh casks made out of French oak were used. In there, the Malt developed its aromatic notes.

Creamy barley with more fresh orchard fruit, vanilla fudge, and delicate oak spice follow softly toasted almonds and hints of gingerbread.
