Grand Maitre 2013

Produced under the exclusive appointment of the Maltese Association Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Grand Maître is an exceptional wine that pays homage to a different Grand Master in chronological order. The 2013 vintage honors Fra Annette de Clermont de Chattes Gessan.

Grand Maître is crafted from a premium blend of hand-picked Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes, carefully harvested from our privately owned estate, Għajn Riħana, nestled in the serene foothills between Bidnija and Wardija. It is the epitome of our commitment to quality and winemaking.

The aromas are of an intense black fruit character with ripe, integrated and supple tannins. On the palate it shows complexities of tar and leather combined with an oaky spicy character of cinnamon and liquorice. This wine can age for a long time and is also a collector’s item.
