Developed through a collaboration between Johnnie Walker, Sugbo Wine, and acclaimed Cebu-based design studio Simmer Studios, the edition celebrates the city's rich heritage, artistic identity, and vibrant culture through an intricate bottle illustration unique to Cebu. The artwork brings together iconic local landmarks and traditions into a single flowing composition, transforming the Blue Label bottle into a contemporary work of art.

Unlike most regional Blue Label releases, the Cebu Edition was produced in an exceptionally limited run of only 400 individually numbered bottles, making it one of the rarest modern bespoke editions issued under the Blue Label name. The design incorporates many of Cebu's most recognisable cultural symbols, including the Sinulog Festival, Magellan's Cross, the Lapu-Lapu Shrine, the CCLEX Bridge, the famous whale shark, and the island's celebrated mangoes. The project was conceived to honour Cebu's creativity while combining Scottish whisky heritage with Filipino artistic expression.
