Ron Barceló is a premium rum producer that was founded 1929 and entirely produced in the Dominican Republic, in line with the designation of origin requirements. Uniquely different because it's made not from molasses, like most rum, but from 100% sugarcane juice that comes from the company’s own plantations in San Pedro de Macorís, and fermented, distilled, and aged in the Dominican Republic. Ron Barceló Imperial Porto Cask, which is part of the exceptional Rare Blends Collection of Barceló rums, is born from the purest juice of the finest selection of Dominican sugar cane, grown in estate's own fields. The result of aging the reserves of this most precious rums in oak barrels with different degrees of toast, carefully selected by expert master coopers. Once the blend is finished, Porto Cask is matured in authentic Tawny 10 Port wine casks to provide the complexity and unique richness that defines this exuberant rum liqueur.
