Vriccio Primitivo

Antica Enotria is located in Cerignola, Apulia, where sun and sea shape a unique terroir. The winery is housed in the historic Contessa Staffa farm, dating back to 1700. Founded in 1993 by Raffaele and his wife Addolorata, Antica Enotria was born from a dream of cultivating fertile land. On untouched soils, they chose to grow 40 hectares of vineyards and vegetables organically—without synthetic chemicals or GMOs. Their agrobiological approach enriches the soil naturally, using green manure and plants like clover, mustard, and legumes.

Appearing a ruby red, Vriccio displays a classic bouquet of dried plum and fruit preserves. The palate is crisp and appealing, with supple tannins well integrated with the alcohol, and the lengthy finish is scented with red berry fruit.
