The Cairn Distillery is a modern Speyside Scotch whisky distillery near Grantown-on-Spey, owned by the historic family company Gordon & MacPhail, and it officially opened in 2022 as the first new-build distillery in the Cairngorms National Park. Designed with contemporary architecture that blends into its natural surroundings, it produces single malt whisky that will mature for many years before release, while currently offering CRN57 blended malt whiskies that showcase the intended future style.

Opens with a fresh, inviting nose of red apples dusted with cinnamon and cloves, followed by orange marmalade and roasted walnuts. On the palate, bright raspberry and apple flavors are joined by a gentle touch of pepper, balancing sweetness and spice alongside a tangy chocolate-orange note. The finish is clean and fruity, carrying through into warming, lightly spiced oak.
