The Cairn Distillery is a modern Speyside Scotch whisky distillery near Grantown-on-Spey, owned by the historic family company Gordon & MacPhail, and it officially opened in 2022 as the first new-build distillery in the Cairngorms National Park. Designed with contemporary architecture that blends into its natural surroundings, it produces single malt whisky that will mature for many years before release, while currently offering CRN57 blended malt whiskies that showcase the intended future style.

The 25-year-old presents a decadent nose of rum and raisin sweetness, layered with brown sugar, ripe fig, maple syrup, and a subtle hint of liquorice. On the palate, bright raspberry notes combine with pistachio nut, fresh apple, and a tangy lift of orange peel, creating a lively contrast to the rich aromas. The finish is smooth and satisfying, with creamy milk chocolate and gentle oak bringing everything together.
