Two Shores Golden Peated Rum Cask Strength

Two Shores Rum, a premium golden rum distinguished by its unique ageing process. Crafted from sustainably sourced pure sugar cane and distilled in the heart of Central America, our eight-year-old rum undergoes an exceptional transformation. Following its initial ageing, it is further matured for up to a further 12 months on Ireland’s west coast in carefully selected aged Irish whiskey casks. 

Aged for eight years in former bourbon casks in Panama, its being finished in mature Irish Whiskey casks. These casks started life in the Western Isles of Scotland where they developed a deep flavor from aging a 10 Year Old Peated Scotch Whisky, before it moved to Ireland and mellowed by an Irish Whiskey. Two Shores rums are bottled without artificial color, sweeteners, flavors or chill filtration, ensuing that the lustrous golden color and rich flavor purely comes from the aging process and their hand selected casks.

A strong peatiness on the nose, with a background of vanilla and mild spice. Palate offers gentle spice, honey and a subtle background of peat. Warm, long and complex finish.
